Serum liquid appearance is Light yellow cloudy translucent.
Directions: The key ingredient in this serum, DMAE, is derived from salmon fish and therefore has an unavoidable unpleasant smell which dissipates after 20-30 minutes on the skin. All DMAE products on the market will have this same smell unless the percentage of DMAE is extremely low (and thus useless) or this smell is covered with a heavy fragrance (which is not good for your skin).
In addition, this serum has a slightly tacky feeling when first applied to the skin. This is normal and will gradually decrease after 10 minutes.
